Who can receive a Travel Resorts of America RV resort membership?
With Travel Resorts of America as your home RV resort, you are qualified to be a member of Coast to Coast. Therefore, with the Travel Resorts of America campground membership, you will have access to the largest reciprocal network of private campgrounds throughout North America.
How many RV resorts are in the Travel Resorts of America?
Currently there are two RV resort campgrounds owned and operated by Travel Resorts of America: Sycamore Lodge Resort and Gettsyburg Battlefield Resort. Your Travel Resorts of America membership will also give you access to over 300 private RV campgrounds and 300 public parks; all at discounted rates.
Does my campground membership include my children and other relatives?
Depending on level of RV camping membership, you may be able to bring friends and relatives with their RV's as your guests.
Does my Travel Resorts of America campground membership include the Good Neighbor Parks?
Yes.
What is the average nightly fee at a Coast to Coast Private Campground or Good Neighbor Park?
$10.00 to $15.00 per night.
How many RV resort membership cards do I receive with my membership?
One per membership number.
How do I make reservations and do reservations have to be made in advance?
You should contact each individual RV resort for availability.

Can the Travel Resorts of America campground membership be sold, willed or transferred?
Yes. Most of our RV camping memberships are sellable, willable, and transferable for three (3) generations. In the case of transfer or resale, we will assist you will all the paperwork and questions. Travel Resorts of America will not resell the membership for you.
Do sites have full hookups?
Our sites have power and water hook ups. There are 3 dump stations on the resort and a honey wagon service that comes around on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Are pets allowed at the RV resort?
Yes, however, they must be on a leash at all times.
Are their laundry facilities onsite?
Yes.
Are there any restrictions on rig size?
Yes.
Are there 50 amp services available?
Yes. There are 30 and 50 amp services available.
What time is check-in and check-out at the RV resorts?
If you arrive during operating hours you are to check in at the store. Check In is at 3:00 p.m. and Check Out is at 11:00 a.m.
Is there tent camping available?
Yes.
Are children allowed?
Of course! The RV resorts are family oriented campgrounds. There are many activities and events for children to do and enjoy!
Where are the RV resorts located?
Sycamore Lodge Resort is located in Jackson Springs, North Carolina, 70 miles south of Raleigh and 90 miles east of Charlotte between the area's tourist attractions of Rockingham Speedway and Pinehurst Golf & Country Club Resort.
Gettysburg Battlefield Resort is located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania near the towns of Hershey and Lancaster, PA and only an hour and a half away from Washington, DC.
Are there fire rings at each site?
Yes.
Are these RV resorts part of a timeshare program?
No. Unlike a timeshare, Travel Resorts of America members can stay at our RV resorts multiple times throughout the year.
Are there planned activities at the RV resorts?
Yes, there are planned activities as well as themed weekends that are optional for our guests. Upon arrival, you will be notified of any special activities during your stay.
Can I bring a friend or relative with their RV to the resort?
Depending on level of campground membership, you may be able to bring friends and relatives with their RV's as your guests.
Do sites have grills available?
No.
Are campfires allowed?
Yes. However, we do not provide firewood.
Are boats allowed on the lake?
At Sycamore Lodge Resort, only boats with no motors are allowed.
At Gettysburg Battlefield Resort, NO boats are allowed.
Is fishing allowed on the lake?
Yes. The lakes at both RV resorts are stocked periodically.
