Hello everyone and Happy April!
It is officially Spring! The snow is almost gone, and the last couple days have been 60’s and sunny. We are all so excited to get outside, get some fresh air, start cleaning up the Resort, and to get ready for the upcoming camping season!
Thank you to everyone that reached out with ideas, I really appreciate your input. We are still working on the activity schedules, cabin renovations, and giving some things around here a makeover. Nikki has been busy in the store, putting up all the new inventory that arrived in March. Two of our housekeeping employees got married at the lower clubhouse on St. Patrick’s Day. It was such a beautiful day for a wedding! Congratulations to James & Sarah, we wish you both all the best!
We are going to try something new this year in storage. We would like everyone that has a camper, in storage, to stop by the office and fill out a new storage agreement for 2022. We are going to assign you a spot so that your camper will always be in the same place. We are hoping this will help us keep track of it better; it will also help us keep the larger RVs near the top, and it will save Jeff some time if you need him to move your camper. If you have any questions regarding storage, please contact the office at (315) 728-9437.
The water will be turned on by May 1st and, if the weather cooperates with us, it may even be a few days earlier. I know some of you are already planning to come out in April, please coordinate your arrival time with the greeting station. You will be able to fill your tank with a hose, located at the upper men’s bathroom or cabin #107A, before you go to your site. Our first weekend open for activities, the Café and the Store will be open on Mother’s Day, May 6th-8th. We will be having our annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, please sign up at the lower clubhouse. We will also have a special teen party planned with DJ Dion.

Steve Baldelli
Steve Baldelli started Travel Resorts in 1986 at the age of 27 after a call from his friend Jim who had found some beautiful property in Pinehurst, North Carolina after a round of golf. Steve flew down from Minnesota to come to see the land and when he got there, there were 12 unfinished RV sites, a lodge, and a hole in the ground that was supposed to be a pool. He fell in love. Steve and his partner had no idea how to run a campground, but he knew he wanted to focus on three things: Taking people out of their normal element, making it close enough to home but far enough away to be a get-away, and making it affordable so all families could enjoy the campgrounds together multiple times a year.
