North Shore Landing Resort April Newsletter, 2025

Apr 1, 2025

Hello North Shore Landing Family!

Spring is here, and while we've had some challenges, we're excited about the positive changes and activities ahead.

Volunteers Needed for Spring & Summer Activities.

Due to a reallocated budget and staff shortages, we're looking for volunteers to help host some of our favorite activities this spring and summer, including Bingo, karaoke, s'mores, goat walks, tie-dye, movie nights, and crafts. We're still finalizing the schedule, so if you're interested in volunteering or have any activity ideas, we'd love to hear from you!

Spring is in the Air.

Georgia recorded its highest-ever pollen count at the end of March, and it's definitely making its mark! Our golf carts and lake shores are covered with pollen, but with it comes the beautiful sight of cherry blossoms in full bloom and plants coming to life.

Thank You, Kimberly.

We want to say a big thank you to Kimberly, who spent the winter with us at North Shore Landing while Soo Line was closed. She helped reorganize our store, and we're so grateful for her hard work. Kimberly is heading back to Minnesota to reopen the campground, and we'll miss her!

Our New Vegetable Garden.

To support the animals at the Nature Center, we've started a vegetable garden. The fresh produce will help feed the rescue animals in our care, and we're excited to see how it grows this season.

Thank you all for your continued support! We can't wait to enjoy the season together with you. Here's to a wonderful spring and summer ahead!

Warmly,
The North Shore Landing Team
