Happy December Everyone!

I can’t believe 2024 is coming to an end already. November has been a quiet month here. We still have a few hardcore campers in the park as it has been a beautiful fall with no snow yet. I hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving and were able to spend some quality time with family and friends and think about what you are thankful for. We are thankful for all of our wonderful members and the memories we can make with you all year.

As most of you know we have a new reservation system, called Newbook. We started using the new system as of October 1st so we have all been working hard to learn all the features it has and get the bugs out. It will be so much better for everyone once we learn all it has to offer. The store is also getting a new POS system that will roll out in the spring, so we are excited to find out more about that and get the store ready for new inventory to arrive. Our maintenance supervisor has been blowing and mulching all the leaves and getting the equipment ready for winter.

The three cedar lodge cabins will be open all winter if you would like to come out and join us during the peaceful winter months. Please call us at (315) 728-9437. Someone is here daily from 9 am-4 pm. We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a healthy and Happy New Year, and we will talk to you soon.

We had so many wonderful costumes this year, it was so hard to judge. They were all great.

The kids and adults went trick or treating throughout the park. I can’t express how wonderful it was to see so many happy campers out having fun together. They were handing out candy to the kids and special drinks to the adults.

Everyone had such a great time. Then at night we had the hayride and haunted house. Thank you to all who decorated their sites and made this weekend so much fun for all.

We look forward to seeing you all next year with more amazing activities and fun. If there is something you would like to see on the schedule next year, please let us know. We are always open to your suggestions.

The water is now off to the campsites for the winter. If you are planning to come in, we do have a place for you to fill your holding tank. We will allow campers until the snow flies but after that we do not plow to the sites.

Please contact the greeting station at (315) 679-5444 for check in procedures this time of year as we are limited on staff. We will have two cabins open all year if you would like to join us for our quiet winter season. I hope you all have a wonderful, safe and healthy winter and we will see you soon.
