Greetings from Rushmore Shadows Resort!
We had such a blast in June. For the first time we have Game On Arcade mobile truck, they were a huge hit on Father’s Day weekend. We also had our first camper crawl of the season and as always those are always so much fun! The next camper crawl will be on July 13th. We are happy to be getting a lot of use out of the hay wagon that Bob and Mike built a couple of years ago.
If you come to visit us with your laundry baskets full, you might be surprised to find that we upgraded our washers and dryers! It was way overdue so we are extremely excited that we were able to replace the old ones. It also gave a little more space in the laundry room.
Right now, we are busy brainstorming and ramping up the 4th of July week. On the agenda, we will be serving up hot dogs on July 4th from 11 am to 2 pm and the Game On arcade truck will also make an appearance at the same time. Then on Saturday the 6th, we will be hosting a cornhole tournament and announcing the site decorating contest winner! Many area fireworks displays are happening all week, so be sure to get the list from the front desk.
