Happy July! June flew right by. We had so much fun in June. Thank you to all who come out and join in all the activities with us. For Father's Day, we had a weenie roast and our annual fishing derby. We could not have asked for a more beautiful morning. Congratulations to all our winners. The biggest fish was a 29" pickerel. Next was Chocolate Lovers weekend with a campfire with s'mores, candy bar bingo, and chocolate tasting. Yummy! We ended June with Wet & Wild with pool games and water balloons.
Both pools are now open! They will be open daily from 10 am to 8 pm. The upper pool slide will be open daily from noon to 6 pm. The lower pool has adult-only hours from 1 pm. to 3 pm. every day, except Saturdays. The maintenance team has been working tirelessly to get everything up and running for the season and to repair the damage caused by the rough winter we had. I want to give a shout-out to our amazing team. They are doing a wonderful job in between raindrops to get this all done. We put up a new fence between the 50-amp campsites and storage. There is a new poker table in the adult lounge now. We got some new chairs and umbrellas for the lower pool. The store and café are now open for summer hours. The store is open daily 9 am-8 pm, and the café is open Wednesday-Sunday. Campers App is back! Make sure you download the App to your phone and check there for all activities, alerts, updates and important information.
So far in July, we have had the 4th of July with parades, cornhole and horseshoe tournaments, tie-dye and much more! Thank you for coming out and celebrating America together. July 11th-13th was Redneck weekend with redneck bowling, Olympics, and a hayride.
Coming up, you don't want to miss Christmas in July, the 18th-20th. Santa will be here again this year for breakfast and a hayride, decorating contests, Christmas cookies, and more! We will end July with Oldies weekend July 25th-27th.
We are looking forward to a wonderful summer here at Bass Lake, and we hope you all will join us!
