Hey Y'all from Sycamore Lodge Resort!

This is coming to you live from Sycamore Lodge Resort in Jackson Springs, NC! We sure hope this finds everyone doing great and gearing up to come camp with us here.

May sure came and went so fast for us here. Those who were here for a couple of Friday morning coffee socials enjoyed pancakes, hot off the griddle — of course, there were long lines waiting for those!

We had a busy May getting everything fully up and running in time for Memorial Day weekend. Huge shoutout to our amazing Maintenance Department for all the hard work they put into keeping our pool not only ready and sparkling, but also freshly painted all around, and for really making the pool furniture shine!

Even with the rain we had that weekend, everyone really enjoyed themselves. In addition to the weekly activities, we had a movie night on Friday under the pavilion. Saturday, in addition to crafts, we had a golf cart parade and hayride. We topped off the evening with everyone's favorite entertainer, The Sand Band, and dancing, singing, and a whole lot of fun was had by all! Browns BBQ was here from morning to night as well.

New Activity: Sycamore's Winabingo

We have added a new Saturday activity for all our kiddos called Sycamore's Winabingo. This will be at 3pm and is geared towards kids 15 and under — winners will receive prizes or a sweet treat. Kids 12 and under need to have an adult present.

June & July Live Music

• Saturday, June 27th at 7 pm — Blind, Crippled and Crazy
• July 4th Weekend — Heads Carolina joins us to celebrate 250 years of independence!

Weekly Activities

• Thursday Afternoon: Candy Bingo at 1 pm in the Hen House
• Friday Morning: Coffee social in the lodge at 10 am
• Friday Afternoon: Card games in the lodge at 4 pm
• Saturday Morning: Crafts at 10 am
• Saturday Afternoon: Winabingo at 3 pm for kids
• Sunday Morning: Church Service at 10 am

As these are volunteer-driven, times and days are subject to change. Be sure to check with the general store or informational bulletin boards for schedules.

The General Store has a lot of new items in stock — camping supplies, groceries, souvenirs, toys, and clothes. We're also offering seasonal sites; see someone in the General Store for more information.

Please remember the speed limit is 5 mph in the resort, all pets must be leashed and cleaned up after, and absolutely no aggressive animals are allowed on the property. If you bring your personal golf cart, register it at the General Store upon check-in and bring your Declarations page for proof of insurance.
