Welcome Back Campers!

The water is on, and we are open for the season. We are so excited for another great year here at Bass Lake! The weather in April was wet and cold but today is May 1st and the weather is starting to look good. All of our team members returned today, and we are all getting ready to go. We are so blessed to have such a great team that returns year after year.

I have a couple announcements to make. Nikki Mayers has been with us for 9 years now and has done various jobs through out the Resort. She started in Activities and then moved to Activity Director and Pool Lead for a few years, she spent one winter in housekeeping and then the last 4 years she has been our Front Desk Supervisor overseeing reservations and the store. She is willing to help out wherever needed. We are happy to announce that she has been promoted to the LIT program and will be training over the summer to be the Assistant Manager here at Bass Lake. Also, Beverly Cooper has worked at our greeting station as a host for the last 2 years and does an amazing job. We are happy to announce that she has been promoted to our new Front Desk Supervisor and will take Nikki’s place as supervisor of reservations and the store. Please join us in congratulating these two ladies.

Sites #114 – #117 have new stones and are ready to go as new full hookup campsites. The store is open, come and see what’s new! The café will open with all its crew on Friday, May 10th.

This weekend the Girls Scouts will be here for our annual spring clean-up and lunch. May 10th-12 is Mother’s Day weekend, and we will have our annual pancake breakfast. Join us May 17th-19th for Chocolate Weekend and cure your sweet tooth. May 24th-27th is Memorial Weekend and then we will end May off with Mexican Fiesta Weekend.
