Greetings from Your Travel Resorts of America Sales Team!

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Rick Treadway and I met Steve Baldelli, our founder, CEO & President, in the late 1980's in Columbus, Ohio, my hometown and birthplace.

I led our sales organization for two-plus decades until 2019, when I stepped away for about five years and semi-retired. At the end of 2024, my friend Steve and I discussed me coming back and playing ball for the team again, and that's exactly what happened.

I missed the staff, the members and the profession I have dedicated my business life to, which is building teams and selling resort memberships for TRA. So, I'm super excited to be back!

Travel Resorts of America owns over 2,000 acres of land, with thousands of campsites, hundreds of cabins and many other hard assets, but the most important asset the company has is YOU, our members.

After a few road bumps along the way including the Coronavirus, over the past few years, we are seeing clear vision for a very sunny future, my friends.

Sales is the King when it comes to generating revenue for our business though. Existing members pay maintenance fees that maintain your resorts and pay for things like our power/electric bills, which alone in 2025 was a whopping $2,200,000 expense for your resorts. Wow! Makes me feel better about my home electric bill!

New membership sales generate new revenue for new projects, such as new sites, cabins, playgrounds, etc. and purchasing additional resorts.

This is our promise to you — we will continue to forge ahead, work hard, invest into the company and the resorts. Our ask of you is to promote TRA, send in positive reviews, and talk the company up. But really, most of all, enjoy your membership and time with each other. You only live on this Earth once.

As we celebrate our 40th anniversary this spring, we thank you for being the most important and best thing TRA has going for it — YOU! You are the best sales agents TRA has ever had! Let's play together as one!
