Hello from Sycamore Lodge Resort!

We hope this finds you all doing great!

The month of April shows the tell-tale signs that Spring is here! It is a beautiful reminder that Sycamore Lodge is magical this time of the year with all the ornamental trees, wisteria, roses, and tulips popping up everywhere.

Easter was doubly celebrated, much to the enjoyment of kids and families who were here. There was a member Easter Egg hunt late morning, and then the Easter Bunny arrived just in time for pictures and the second Easter Egg hunt. Special shout-out to our wonderful volunteers who asked to coordinate this activity. They made it more fun and memorable for everyone.

Our team here at Sycamore is gearing up for the season and running full steam ahead. They have been busy sprucing up the resort with new signage, fresh paint, road maintenance, filling potholes, keeping it watered due to being so dry this month, and treating the pond algae.

The pool is looking great and shaping up for the opening on Memorial Weekend. The Sand Band is scheduled to play here to help kick off this season as well, on Saturday, May 23rd from 7 pm to 10 pm.

Weekly Activities

• Thursday Afternoon: Candy Bingo at 1 pm in the Hen House
• Friday Morning: Coffee social in the lodge at 10 am
• Friday Afternoon: Card games in the lodge at 4 pm
• Saturday Morning: Crafts at 10 am
• Sunday Morning: Church Service at 10 am

As these are volunteer-driven, times and days are subject to change. When you are here, be sure to check with the general store or the informational bulletin boards for schedules.

The General Store has a lot of new items in stock, so be sure and check them out when you're here. In addition to camping supplies and groceries, they have some great souvenirs, toys and clothes.

Don't forget, we are offering seasonal sites here. If you would like more information about that, come and see me.

Be sure to grab a copy of our Guidelines at check-in. Please remember the speed limit is 5 mph in the resort, all pets must be leashed and cleaned up after, and absolutely no aggressive animals are allowed on the property.

If you bring your personal golf cart, you must register it at the General Store upon check-in. Be sure to bring your Declarations page for proof of insurance.
