What a wonderful end to our camping season!
The weather has been beautiful the whole month of October.
The last two weekends of our season were Fall Festival and then Halloween. Both weekends the weather was great, the fall leaves were beautiful, and everyone had fun.
For Fall Festival we had our second annual Craft & Vendor show. It was a great turnout, we had a lot of compliments on this event, so we will plan to do it again next year. So many showed up to our fall party dressed like a farmer, what a hoot that was! We then we ended it all with Halloween weekend which is always very popular.
We had so many wonderful costumes this year, it was so hard to judge. They were all great.
The kids and adults went trick or treating throughout the park. I can’t express how wonderful it was to see so many happy campers out having fun together. They were handing out candy to the kids and special drinks to the adults.
Everyone had such a great time. Then at night we had the hayride and haunted house. Thank you to all who decorated their sites and made this weekend so much fun for all.
We look forward to seeing you all next year with more amazing activities and fun. If there is something you would like to see on the schedule next year, please let us know. We are always open to your suggestions.
The water is now off to the campsites for the winter. If you are planning to come in, we do have a place for you to fill your holding tank. We will allow campers until the snow flies but after that we do not plow to the sites.
Please contact the greeting station at (315) 679-5444 for check in procedures this time of year as we are limited on staff. We will have two cabins open all year if you would like to join us for our quiet winter season. I hope you all have a wonderful, safe and healthy winter and we will see you soon.
